Save The Date Designs for a Galentine’s Brunch

I’ll admit that I adore everything about Valentine’s, February, and all things love! After a dreary January, it’s a welcome excuse to don shades of blush & bashful (10 points for you if you can name that movie) and celebrate everyone and everything that makes your heart happy! However, I think my new favorite thing about February is using it as excuse to get together with girlfriends and celebrate Galentine’s Day! In prepping for the day, I am thrilled to partner with Basic Invite to show you all some gorgeous save the date designs, invitations, and more for hosting your next event!

If you are unfamiliar with the concept of Galentine’s, just do a little binge watch of Parks & Rec to learn more about this day dedicated to celebrating female friendships. It’s cheesy and fun, but it is truly amazing to take a little time out to praise your ladies! This year I’m hosting a Galentine’s brunch with heart shaped waffles, blood orange mimosas, and lots of girl talk. However, between our crazy work lives, new babies, and more, getting everyone together can be tricky. I’ve also found that trying to send out texts to have my girlfriends save the date for our get-togethers can be tricky (dates and times always get lost in group messages) and takes the special touch out of playing hostess.

I just love sending and receiving snail mail and I know my friends do too, so working with Basic Invite to send out adorable save the dates and invites has been an absolute dream. Basic Invite not only offers an incredibly user friendly site, it allows you to truly customize your paper goods in a way I haven’t seen before. I started with this design for inspiration and played around with the look and feel of the card to make it my own! I tried out the ‘luxe velvet’ paper and I am telling you it feels amazing. How do I know how it felt amazing before ordering and sending out to guests? Oh well, that’s because Basic Invite allows you to order a sample of your custom design before you buy! My sample arrived at home in record time and I didn’t even have to think about it – I clicked check-out as soon as I held that velvety card in my hands!

Whatever event you have coming up, whether you need graduation announcements, baby shower invitations, or wedding post cards, Basic Invite has really impressed me in their branding, service, and product. I highly recommend! As for me, I can’t wait to host my girls for a bubbly brunch and cheers to another year to the best friends a woman could hope for!

Let me know what upcoming events you are planning for and if you are going to save the date to celebrate Galentine’s Day in the comments below or over on Instagram! Looking for more entertaining ideas? Check out my Parisian Bridal Shower!
